Artificial Intelligence has become a critical element in various fields, including healthcare and clinical research. This symposium will provide a comprehensive exploration of AI’s current applications, its potential future uses, and the challenges associated with its integration.
Our distinguished speakers will include:
- Andre Dekker, Medical Physicist & Professor of Clinical Data Science, Maastricht University Medical Center. Andre will discuss the rationale for AI in healthcare, the significance of data, and methodologies for developing and validating AI to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Raja Shankar, Vice President of Machine Learning at IQVIA. Raja will present an overview of AI’s application throughout the clinical development pathway, including planning, trial design, strategy development, and operational execution. He will also address current AI capabilities and anticipated advancements over the next 1-3 years.
- Terttu Haring, President of Sites & Patients at Syneos Health. Terttu will explore how AI can impact clinical operations by optimizing patient recruitment, enhancing data collection, and reshaping the use of human intelligence in clinical trials.
